Top Tips for Boosting your Winter Immune System

Well, Autumn is well and truly here eh?

I keep hearing of soooooooo many people being ill just now

If it's not COVID, it's colds or flu (yes...other viruses do still exist)

...or even rotten tummy bugs!!

Here are my top 5 tips to boost your immune system and stay well this winter:

Eat a nutrient-dense diet!!!

I say this ALL the time but seriously, if you don't, you'll be lacking in essential nutrients such as vitamin C, zinc, selenium and quercetin....all needed for a healthy immune system.

Drink fresh ginger tea (add some manuka honey and lemon juice to make it even better at kicking viruses into touch!).

Take elderberry syrup (one of the best botanicals for strengthening your immune system).

Look after your gut. About 70% of your immune system is in your gut so for goodness sake don't abuse it with a poor diet and too much

If you do get ill, REST!! Something many of us are shockingly bad at. The world won't grind to a halt if you miss a day or two. Rest up and you'll be well so much quicker!
